Genoa-Kingston School District students have the opportunity to receive state recognition of being proficient in English and in one or more languages. Students who earn this recognition will have the official Seal of Biliteracy on their transcripts and high school diploma. In Illinois, the Seal will also count toward Foreign Language course credit at public colleges and universities.
