Genoa-Kingston High School (GKHS) welcomes Mr. Jaime Cadengo as the new assistant principal. Mr. Cadengo brings a wealth of experience and passion that aligns with the school district's mission of preparing students to excel and contribute to their community.
Mr. Cadengo joins us from Ellis Middle School in Elgin where he served as principal. He brings with 20 years of experience in the education field and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from NIU and a Masters in Education Administration from National-Louis University.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. Cadengo to GK. He brings with an outside perspective and wealth of experience”, said Ms. Andrews, GKHS Principal.
In his role, Mr. Cadengo will oversee student conduct, AP testing, standardized testing and other administrative duties.
“I am honored to join the GKHS team, the one thing I already love about GKHS is the pride they take in everything they do, from academics to athletics and music,” said Mr. Cadengo.
