The Genoa prairie restoration and wildlife improvement project has started getting a lot of attention lately. Genoa’s Arborist, Janice Melton, emphasizes the hard work that has gone into Genoa’s Prairie Project. Melton added, “All the hard work that everyone has contributed is starting to show good progress.” The 80 acres of wetland, savanna and forested areas are slowly being transformed.
