As we strive to create the best learning environment possible for our students at Genoa-Kingston CUSD #424, we are also working hard to get information out to our parents, family members and community. As a result, we have been spending the better part of five months re-organizing, updating, and improving our website to create a more user-friendly, more informative mode of communication.
Please take the time to explore the new www.gkschools.org website and check out the wonderful work our staff has been working diligently on these past few months. We are very excited and very proud of the improvements you will see. We want to give a special thank you to Mr. Ben Owen and GK Senior Mitch Clymer, who have committed an immense amount of time revamping our website into something we can be proud of. For those of you that follow GK Athletics on its 8to18 webpage, you can continue to do so with no change. The Athletics link on our new website will take you directly to the 8to18 webpage. This will be one of the few exterior links you will find on our new GK Schools site.
In the near future, we will load a tutorial to assist with navigating the site, and explain some of the special features it includes. In addition, we are currently working on the new district mobile app. Once the app is ready to go, we will send out instructions on how to acquire the app, and use it on your mobile device. It will be available in both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
