GKMS Families,
As the temperatures continue to drop as we enter December, please remind your middle school student to dress appropriately for the winter weather; hats, gloves, closed toed shoes, coats, and pants. The GKMS doors open daily at 7:30am for students.
This holiday season, Community Impact Club is asking for new toys ($5-$10) or a $5 donation to help out local G-K families. If you are interested in donating, please have your middle school student bring an unwrapped toy on or before December 14th. Each time your student brings in a donation, they will be entered into a drawing to be part of a pizza party on December 15th. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Ewald. Winter Sports
Interested in joining the GKMS Wrestling Team? There will be an informational meeting next Thursday, December 8th during lunch periods. Wrestling is open to all students at the middle school. Coach Burke will share the schedule, start date, and contact information at the meeting. Students must have an up to date physical on file in order to join wrestling.
7th/8th Girls Basketball is having an informational meeting during 7th and 8th grade lunches next Friday, December 9th. Girls basketball is open to all 7th and 8th grade girls. Information on the practice schedule and start date will be given out at the meeting. Girls must have an up to date physical on file in order to try out for the girls basketball team.
