Upcoming Dates:
- Friday, December 16th – Kindergarten Christmas Parties 12:15
- Friday, December 16th – End of 2nd quarter.
- Winter break will be from Monday, December 19th through Friday, December 30th.
- Monday, January 2, 2023 - School resumes
- Thursday, January 5th - Picture Retake Day.
- Thursday, January 12th – 2nd quarter report cards will be sent home.

Math:
Topic 7 – Understand Subtraction: During Topic 7, students will take apart a number and tell the parts, use the minus sign, and find the difference of two numbers. 9 take away 4 is 5. 9 – 4 = 5
Reminders:
We are continuing to assess and benchmark our students this week on 2nd quarter skills. Please keep reviewing skills at home that are difficult for your child to help your child feel and be more successful.
Please Note:
We are enjoying different stories about gingerbread characters. Ask your child to explain the main idea in the gingerbread stories and see if he or she can remember the different characters in each story.
