NO HOMEWORK-Happy Thanksgiving
Literacy
In ReadyGen we are focusing on characters, setting, and retelling events. Students are also learning the difference between fiction and non-fiction reading material. Vocabulary and parts of speech (nouns, proper nouns, and verbs) are essential parts of our lessons.
Phonics
Focus:(continued from last week)
Short “u” with -ck, -ss, -mp, -sk
(duck, fuss, jump, risk)
Tricky Words of the Week
Continue to practice reading, writing, and spelling the first 50 fry words this week.
Focus Words:
Math
We will finish math topic 4 (subtraction facts to 20). With the short week we will not have a focus fact this week.

Student school hours are 8:00-2:50 each day.
Please send two snacks to school with your student each day.
Please send your child to school with a spill proof water bottle each day.
Our classrooms can be cool. Please send a sweatshirt with your student.
Temps are getting cooler please send gloves, hats and a warm jacket for outdoor play.
