If a concern arises, we ask community members to wait a full 24 hours before contacting a staff member with an issue to allow for emotions to subside that can be a barrier to resolution.

After 24 hours, our district Channels of Communication asks the community member to contact the teacher, supervisor, coach or staff member directly involved with the concern first.

If the issue is not resolved, or a plan put in place to resolve the situation, then that employee’s direct supervisor should be contacted.  The Genoa Kingston Channels of Communication is available below to help guide you through this process.

Please note that contacting a board member with a concern should be the LAST step in the process.  Board Members have been asked to refer concerns to the District Channels of Communication as well.
