Mining Accidents

Mining accidents can be caused by many things, including leaks of poisonous gases such as methane. There can also be explosions of natural gases called firedamp, or asphyxiate gases, like carbon monoxide. There are also accidents caused by dust explosions, collapsing of mine sections, flooding, or general mechanical errors from with mining equipment.
