Sega was invented in 1989 by a guy named Dave Ashley. Japan was the where Sega was first sold. The game was marketed by Dave Ashley and Richard Frick. Sega Genesis has two different controllers. One has only three buttons and the other has six buttons. Sonic the Hedgehog was one of the more popular games.
     Sega was sold in North America for around $190. It was sold in Japan for 39,000 yen. In Europe Sega sold for 189.99 Euros.
