Les Paul invented the first electric guitar in the 1930's in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The first official electric guitar was manufactured in 1952 by Gibson Inc., called the Gibson Les Paul virtual ant.

Guitars come in different  shapes and sizes and colors. The picture on the next page is a red electric guitar. On page 2 at the bottom of the page is my principal playing the electric guitar.

Les Paul still plays weekly at the Iridium in New York City and he is awesome.
