Carroll County

Carroll county was named after Charles Carroll, who was a signer of the Declaration of
Independence. It was established on February 22, 1839. The courthouse is located at 301 N. Main Mt. Carroll, IL.
A few towns in Carroll county are Cherry Grove, York, Salem, Rock Creek, and Wysox.
Mississippi Palisades State Park is located in Savana.
Carroll County Fair Shell Park is a nice place to visit as well.
