Bottlenose Dolphins Home |
|
Bottlenose dolphins are one of the most common and well-known dolphins. They are usually gray. The adults are usually 2-4 meters long. Bottlenose dolphins live in groups called pods which usually consist of 15 dolphins. They mostly eat small fish. Sometimes they make squeaks and whistles through their blowhole. They also use body language to communicate. Some motions they use are jumping out of the water and hitting their tails on the water. You can usually find dolphins in harbors, bays, lagoons, and river mouths. |
